Our veterinary hospital is conveniently located on the edge of Reisterstown at 11809 Reisterstown Road, next to Owings Mills. We are one block south of Franklin Blvd. and Cherry Hill, and located just off 795 by way of the Franklin Blvd exit. We are in the same building as Battery Warehouse, across the street from Dunkin Donuts and next door to the Auto Zone. Our veterinary check-ups, grooming hours and boarding services are all available by appointment. For routine veterinary check-ups, including wellness exams and vaccinations boosters, as well as spay/neuter procedures, please contact our animal hospital to schedule your pet’s appointment in advance. TLC for Pets Veterinary Hospital is passionate about providing the best possible care for the special pets in your life. We are open 7 days a week, including 9am to 12pm on Saturday and Sunday. During the week, we also offer late-night hours (until 7pm) on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to better accommodate after-work appointments.
In the event of a pet emergency, we offer emergency and urgent care services without an appointment during our regular office hours. We treat urgent and emergency visits on a triage basis, which means our veterinarian will care for the most urgent cases first. You do not have to be an existing patient to visit our veterinary hospital for emergency care. If possible, please alert our vet team to your impending arrival; this way we can anticipate your pet’s care and be ready to provide urgent support as soon as you arrive.
If you are an existing patient, please call our after-hours emergency line: (410) 833-1717 . You will be directed to the closest 24-hour pet emergency care center. You will also be able to leave a voicemail message for Dr. Lucas regarding your pet’s condition. Dr. Lucas typically returns emergency calls until 11pm on weeknights and intermittently on weekends. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, take your pet to the closest after-hours emergency pet care center. Dr. Lucas will receive your pet’s care notes and we can take the treatment case over at our hospital should additional care be required.
Please note that our veterinarians do not give out any medical advice by e-mail. Our doctors attend to patients in the hospital and appointments first. If your matter is urgent, please call. If you are not an existing client and need to speak to a doctor before scheduling an appointment, please call our office. We do not return e-mails on weekends or holidays.
