Message from Dr. Lucas Thank you for taking the time to familiarize yourself with our hospital. TLC can be an abbreviation for many things. Obviously, "Tender Loving Care" is most important. We want you and your pet to be comfortable with our friendly staff, and we want the exam room visit to be as warm and non-intimidating as possible. We cannot make every pet love injections and other procedures, but we do try to create a pleasant veterinary experience. "Thorough Lifetime Commitment" may be an even better slogan to describe our hospital's mission. We want to provide thorough quality care at each visit. We thus try not only to help with the immediate problem but also to prevent other medical or behavioral concerns from becoming problems.

Quality medicine takes time; we hope to provice you with as much assistance as possible when you are here, while still not inconveniencing other clients and pets. We also try to be accessible for telephone questions between visits and -of course- for emergencies. We want you to understand your pet's health concerns; good follow-up care at home is so important.

Quality medicine takes advanced equipment, diagnostics and medications too. Since the best veterinary medicine must be accessible, we try to balance high tech care with outstanding service and a reasonable cost.

Our ultimate goal is to assist you in a long lasting, rewarding relationship with a happy, healthy pet. We hope to meet our goal and exceed your expectations.

Admissions

Whether your pet is hospitalized for medical reasons or is boarding with us, we require proof of a current vaccination status for the safety of all animals in our care. For dogs, we require proof of rabies, distemper, parvo, and Bordetella vaccination. For cats, we require proof of rabies and FVRCP (or equivalent) vaccinations. We also require a deposit before most hospital stays.

Our clinic was built in 1996 and has been undergoing renovations in 2004 and 2005. Stay tuned for updated pictures or request a tour if time and medical circumstances allow us to provide one. We will gladly show our boarding areas including comfortable runs and kitty "condos." <-- Reception Desk
